Definition of window slice:

An optical window piece is an optical glass piece with two surfaces parallel to each other after grinding and polishing. They are used as protection between the two environments and have little effect on the visible light passing through. Commonly used coatings are antireflective film (AR) and scratch resistant film (AS).

AR film is anti-reflection film, anti-reflection film, its function is used to reduce the reflection of light and increase the penetration intensity. AR films are sometimes used in conjunction with AS films on optical window sheets.

AS film is waterproof and dustproof film, can make the contact area of water, dust and other dirt and lens smaller at a 110 degree Angle, and make it not easy to adhere to the lens surface, so the filter surface will be more smooth and easy to clean. See water and dust proof film (AS film).
